That is an obvious observation that is often made. I have stopped trying to explain our relationship to other people who've not met him and and only see the circumstance. I just say, 'wait until you meet him and see how we are together, and then you'll understand'. And so far, that has universally turned out to be the case. Rex is a very special person. *chuckles* People underestimate him at their own peril. ;)
